APS001: Effectiveness of the Autism Pupil Screen (APS) Detect Pupillometer for Identifying Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Routine Healthcare

Learn about a clinical trial examining the safety and effectiveness of an investigational device designed to help healthcare professionals identify ASD in children.This study is an FDA clinical trial sponsored by Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. (SEL). The trial will examine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational device designed to help healthcare professionals screen for ASD in children ages two to five years old in routine healthcare settings. This clinical trial uses an investigational pupillometer device that measures a child’s pupillary light reflex (PLR) and compares the data against typical and atypical development. This device is not yet cleared for safety and effectiveness by the FDA.
